Lucy Cotter, MFT has a whole-hearted commitment to Narrative Therapy.  She has a passion for helping individuals, couples and families discover new stories of collaboration.  Lucy holds an MA in Child/Marriage Counseling from Pacific Oaks College, and an MFA from Otis College of Art. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Antioch University, her courses include Brief  Therapy, The Psychology of Couples in Fiction and Film, Postmodern Psychotherapies, Critical Psychology and Existential Psychology. Lucy also teaches Narrative Therapy in the Postmodern Therapy Program at Phillips Graduate Institute and is an adjunct faculty member of Pacific Oaks College. As a psychotherapist with couples, individuals and families, Lucy has worked in a range of settings including AIDS Service Center in Pasadena and the School Based Program of Jewish Family Services.  She frequently facilitates parent-teen and family dialogues as a family therapist.  Her 25 years of experience in making art informs the creativity she brings to psychotherapy at the Narrative Counseling Center. Lic#: MFC46671
